PGM: Detective Comics #140 (Grade is in!!)

Don't usually post books here but figured I'd seek the council of those who've been around longer.

 

The big issues:

 

3/4" tear on the front cover

1/2" tear on the back cover

small "stain" of some sort at the bottom of back cover (does not bleed)

 

cover nicely attached and no creases. Lots of pressable defects

 

I have a grade range in mind...what say you?

Nobody wants to jump in the stain will kill the book with CGC but i'll give it a 4.5/5.0 still a great looking tec my 2 cents!

I'll say 5.0

The tears don't really leap out at you (in fact the BC tear is a little hard to detect). I want to say 5.5, but the fact that there is a 2nd tear makes it difficult to do so.

 

Still, I wouldn't be shocked if it got that tiny bump for being so freaking AWESOME!

Right on the borderline of 4.5/5.0 IMO...between the tear, stain and spine rumples I think 5.5 is pushing it a bit. Very cool book. (thumbs u

My thought was 4.0 to 4.5 because of the two tears and the staining. But to be honest the book looks better than that! Good luck, I hope it comes back higher than what I guessed!
