Baltimore Comicon BOARD DINNER

6 posts in this topic

Something I've been thinking about---we haven't really had one in a while.

I hosted a couple years ago here at the house, and all had a good time.

I'm debating another.

The downside is, I live 30 min from the inner harbor (where the Convention Center is.)

The upside, I can make this work at $40 per person, all you can eat and drink---including beer, liquor, and great catered food.

From italian to sea food.

10 people min. to cover costs.

One year we catered italian, the next we did a pig roast.

Great chance for boardies to get together, relax, not run up a huge dinner and wine tab.

Thoughts?

I wouldn't mind combining this with a comic swap, something else we did here at the house last year.

We'd need a couple designated drivers to bring people back to their hotel.

Who's in?
