The nicest of my two duplicates.

 

I think the book would be a VF or better, if not for:

 

– small thumb crease on the FC right edge (towards the bottom) but the covers lie almost perfectly flat, and are quite glossy;

– very small piece out of FC bottom right corner;

– tiny hint of rust on the upper staple (I think this can be removed as staples are otherwise nice and clean, both inside and outside).

 

Not sure how to grade it with these defects (higher res scans provided).

Great looking copy! With the chip missing though I don't see this getting any higher than 8.0

This should get at least a 7.5

That line at the top left corner BC should vanish after a cleaning.

 

I've seen this cover many times, but for some reason I've never noticed the Mad Titan's camel toe before.

Yes, I was thinking the same. Without that corner bit missing, and with fresher paper, this could have steered in the VFNM range, but as is I am undecided between 7.5 and 8.0.

 

Any other opinion to decide is much appreciated!

 

P.S. I was wondering what was wrong with Thanos' feet, and then I wished I hadn’t looked for the meaning of the term…

Anyway, Thanos is protruded, all forward, so these are most likely his buttocks.

He has a very plastic body, and you know that Starlin knows his business as an artist.
