I have to say I was convinced this book would score higher than the grades advised, as in hand it looked amazing even before Matt and the team at CCS worked their magic. Re. the discoloration, as I mentioned previously it is very light in hand, so much so I missed picking it up until I posted it here. I think it may be a defect with the paper as there is no marks on the internal pages; my scanner doesn't help, any marks/yellowing on white some massively exaggerated. I think I will be buying grader notes as well (which will be subject of a forthcoming journal entry BTW).

 

As you mentioned, the turnaround time was awesome, particularly with CCS, paid fast track and it was transferred to CGC very quickly. I'll certainly use them again, I'm a convert to pressing now.

The top "stain" is still visible, albeit barely. Anything on the side, I no longer see.
