tb
Since it is taking a little longer to scan my entire collection, I'll post the pics of WDC&S #2 and #9 that I promised. These early issues are really impossible to find: I've combed internet for years, subscribed to catalogs from major dealers, CBG, ..., yet these are the best copies I've found. Hope you can use them. Btw. the #9 is one of my most recent acquisitions (multiple of guide as could be expected). My old copy is currenly on eBay if you want to check that out as well. aardvark88
Think hardcore Disney & Barks collectors have not bee eBaying their WDCS b/c there has not been that much UPward movement in Ostreet on them the last 3 yrs.
Arty
Thanks! Very nice pics. Actually I earlier meant that I have never seen WDCS 2 through 9. Now it's only numb.5 that I'm still missing. (I kind of have collected my own "Gerber photo journal" of interesting titles on my hard disk. There's often a lot of details missing on those smallish Gerber pictures ) If you are scanning your entire collection, are you planning to put in online some day? That would be great. These early numbers are really difficult to find in high grade. Besides a couple of WDCS 1s even Heritage has sold only one copy of number four (in VG+ cond.) If I recall it correctly there isn't any HG-copies on CGC census for many early numbers.(On some cases there's no cgc-graded copies at all)
