I have two copies I'm considering getting graded. As ever, would appreciate your thoughts on both.

 

One was sold as NM Mint 9.8 (I know, I know...) whilst the other described as high grade; can you guess which is which?

:o I'm speechless!

 

I'm thinking your first copy was sold to you as the 9.8? The colours are bright and the book is appealing at first glance. However there is a significant "scratch" across the front of the cover from the Marvel label on the LHS straight across the entire page. There are enough minor blemishes to add to the low grade of 7.0 to 7.5 for this copy.

 

Your second copy does not have the nice bright colours of the first copy however there still appears to be about the same amount of damage to this book as it's cousin. I would guess this one to grade around 7.0 to 7.5 as well but for different reasons than the first copy. (shrug)
