What grade do you think this book is in, there is a spine tear at the bottom but the rest of the book front and back covers have no wear and the corners razor sharp. Surprising as this is an Australian reprint from 1948 and the covers are not glossy but are paper cover like the pages inside the book.

The scans are kind of cropped! How big is the spine tear?

I'll go out on a limb and say 8.0 with a 1/8" to 1/4" spine tear.

The book has a nice appearance overall though!

The tear is at the bottom left hand side, more like a scuff on the corner as you can see from the scan, not a tear as such

Im leaning 9.0 but im very bias, I just love the look of the paper cover and how well it has been preserved since 1948, but 8.5 I think is more reality.
