PGM Hulk 181

8 posts in this topic

Been sitting bagged and boarded (not in mylar, because when I stored it, No. 180 was the bigger deal at the time) in a comic box for 30+ years. Worth CGC-ing?

(Also, this is my first foray into this forum, so please let me know if I'm not following proper image-posting protocol.)

I'm back into my collection after a 30-year hiatus thanks to my daughter's sudden interest in comics, and now I'm looking to sell some to buy more (like one of the regulars on here, who says he sells comics to buy comics -- he's not a collector; he's selector.) OK, that's enough from me -- what do you guys think?

Thanks! That is so awesome to hear!

I'm going to post one more in a sec (I know protocol is a maximum of 2 at a time). Drum roll ... ASM 129, and I think it's in better shape than this Hulk.

Good luck with the grading. Newbie question: Do you just ship your books off to CGC or is it better to have them graded at a convention? Let's say they come back with a 9.0. How do they determine what to charge you? Do they just charge 3% off of an Overstreet Guide rating, or do they have another method?
