Hello. Here's my second and final post of the night. I'm crossing my fingers I have a good one here, but I'll let the experts decide. :) (With new links added per recommendation.)

Sure. How do I provide a scan that is less saturated? I'm brand new at uploading comic scans. I've been scanning at 600 dpi, then saving in Photoshop at 900 dpi, then uploading to Photobucket. What should I do differently? Or does my scanner just suck?

Thank you. Yes, I was going to stop at two books (I thought that was the limit). I've already got the scan running at 600 dpi, but with the black background. If that still looks crappy, let me know and I'll try again another day. Thanks all for helping out the newbie.

8.0 There are too many spine ticks to grade higher. :(

One question... Is the finger print in the "ID" of the Spider-man title on the scanner or is it actually on the book? :o

Awesome find. I had to put on my reading glasses and use a magnifying glass, but sure enough, there it is on the I. Does something virtually invisible like that substantially affect value? I'm assuming we're not talking a more serious flaw, a la spine ticks.

I personally don't think that this will effect the grade at this level any further. The higher the grade the more chance that it will however everyone has opinions and the only ones that are really important are the ones that put these books into thiose plastic holders! Regardless this is an awesome book! Nice find! I'm lowering my guess down to an 8.5 then.
