I'd just like to know what grade collectors give on a punch hole book.

I love them for the fact as a low grade copy they have dark colours and gloss mostly and as you can see thru the white shield of the cover you can see the ad page on inside cover. A trait with high grade books. And these low grade books are cheap I picked this up off a dealer for $10

I think the holes punched out would roughly equate to a coupon cut out. This would bring the grade down to a 1.0. IMHO. This doesn't quite seem fair, as the book presents pretty well.

I always had the impression that the book with punch holes would grade about 2.0, And would grade lower due to any more wear or problems in the book

3.0 was my first instinct. Not sure with the holes.

A qualified grade always makes me GREEN . I disagree with the coupon out comparison: a coupon out is a major piece missing that would certainly affect a story or ad of some kind. This is not the same thing. I look at this more like a chunk out of a corner that goes through the entire book (like insect or rodent damage). This being said, I agree with the 3.0 on this one.
