There's an independent comic convention happening next Saturday in Brooklyn from 11am-7pm at Mt. Carmel Church (275 N. 8th St

Brooklyn, NY 11211). Not sure if any CGC reps will be there but there are a number of artists attending that include:

 

- Paul Pope

- Jeff Smith

- Adrian Tome

- Davd Mazzuchelli

- Art Spiegelman

Okay, I have set up some other business in Brooklyn to push me to go, so I am going. Probably for only an hour or so but I am going. I may even hit the Kirby pop up museum on the way home.

I was at the Comic Arts Brooklyn 2013 show and had a BLAST commissioning sketches from a bunch of the Artists.

 

Soon after the show, I TWEETED a pix of each of the sketches I got at the show.

 

To my AMAZEMENT, Bleeding Cool's Rich Johnston wrote an article featuring the sketches: "When Indie Artists Sketch On Mainstream Comic Covers At Brooklyn Comic Arts Festival"
