Still, one of the toughest BA keys to find IMHO, I bought one off the rack (a tomato boxer) and was lucky enough to find an OO 9.6 copy a few years ago (Stevie B. bought it . . .)

The worst part is that when he first mentioned having a "bunch of comics", there were about 5 boxes of them. When he brought the shoe box in yesterday, he told me that these were the only ones "worth saving". The rest of them were "tossed in the dumpster".

Tough to grade anything that's in the "would be if..." category. I mentioned this particular scenerio on these posts before. How much do you reduce a grade for a certain defect? This is obvious water damage here and not just a stain. But even with this degree of water damage (apparently just at the top judging by the scans), I wouldn't totally butcher the grade especially if the interior pages are still nice and supple. I am going to say a 5.5 on this one.
