Darwination
I just checked that story out (Love Journal 11). Kind of Wild. Dunno how some of those messages would go over seventy years later I liked it, though. My take? Fred likes em thicc and vulnerable. One of the ending lines, "If I ever slip again, beat me! Popular Post BuscemasAvengers
A few on their way back from Sarasota, starting with Love Romances 76 in an 8.0. Becomes highest graded, only because there were none graded before! pmpknface, buttock, electricprune and 10 others
Popular Post BuscemasAvengers
Next up is Love Romances 79. Had this pegged as either an 8.0 or 8.5, so happy with the result, and it takes over as highest graded. Popular Post BuscemasAvengers
I predicted the grade accurately on the Love Romances 80, but was unaware of the B-1 resto (and not informed about it when the book was bought ). I've included the scan of the book prior to sending it to Sarasota. Apparently the small CT appears br of fc. Popular Post BuscemasAvengers
Lovers 83. Thought this had a chance in the VF range, but alas not to be. Ties for highest graded. adamstrange, Get Marwood & I, Darwination and 4 others
Dr. Love
Now that's a kick in the jewels. It was all set to be the 2nd highest graded of a big big book. Still has quite the value given the grade and the slight resto - just not as much as it would have been, obviously. This was an OO pickup, yeh? A nice haul, Atlas romance in these grades just aren't out there! BuscemasAvengers
Popular Post BuscemasAvengers
Last of the Romance books on its way back: Lovers 84. I had this as a 7.0, and was quite surprised at the 8.0 grade. Becomes 2nd highest graded, just below the 8.5 above it. Darwination, Ricksneatstuff, szucchini and 7 others 9
Popular Post Ricksneatstuff
Great books TIM! You knocked my Lovers 84 7.5 down a notch. And not to knock these gems in the slightest, but is it significantly easier to find these later 50s books "in grade" than earlier 50s Atlas romance? Dr. Love
Original Owner. Or OO once removed. Not from an auction or a dealer but a regular scrub like you...and me! Easier perhaps, significantly is relative. 10 years for an 8.0 vs 20, or never? Atomic Atlas are rough across the board. All romance are rough. adamstrange, BuscemasAvengers, jimjum12 and 1 other 3

I always wondered what was up with the bizarre advertisement marring the bottom left corner of this romance masterpiece. The opening story from Mort Leav is a great one, too. Darwination
My girls are always a bit shabbier than most you people seem to bring home Had this one out yesterday for a fresh mylar and some pics. Superior edition, 1 copy in the census far nicer than this one at 7.0. A whopping 7 in the census for the Fox edition which is actually a higher population than other issues. Noticed looking at the GCD that some stories were reprinted from this Fox title later in Star's True-to-Life Romances. Something a little weird about how she's caressing that big log Some fun splashes Edited April 19 by Darwination Dr. Love, Get Marwood & I, Yorick and 1 other 1
