Anyone going? First time for this show. I heard from someone that it is a comic show without all of the media and company presence.

There should be. They're still building up the list. Issue is that there are 2 other cons happening that same weekend in the NY area. Some who would've gone to this one already made commitments to the other shows. They should have a bigger list of people as we get closer to the date.

For $30 admission, I'm not very impressed by the guest lineup.

I was planning on doing one day here, one day at Eternal Con. Now I'm not sure.

Ankur - kid friendly in that a few of the respected collectors exhibiting may have a box or two of toys. We are not offering space to our toy vendors you see at NYCC. We are focusing on the art, books, content. No panels or activities geared for kids at the moment; we just don't have the time or space. Of course there are the comics.
