I know the big guys are trying to make up for lost time...and revenue. But it's good the little guys got a win for a change! No disrespect to them. Just glad I got in N got out

 

Both of the Outcast #1's we currently have listed belong to a consignor, not us directly:

Yeah. No disrespect intended. It was just a lucky break that they were desired at those prices. It was just good to have a big win...grading comics is no easy business. But, I'm preaching to the choir, I'm sure.

I think we all assumed so. Just funny that someone would go through the motions of consignment and then have such a crazy asking price. I'm sure you guys get some nutty sellers.

 

Just curious, do you all ever say no to a ridiculous request? Or do you just fight laughter and agree?

I just sold 3 signed copies for 50 each, Outcast #1 went to 3rd print and is reported to be HEAVILY pre-ordered, that's after both 1st & 2nd prints sold out. I dont see this book slowing down ANYTIME soon

Go look on ebay I think the user is comix castles (something like that)

 

For a few weeks he's been making bank off of this book

 

The slabs sell for at least $100 and 1 or 2 have gone over $200

I went back a few pages and read about MCS. Those were asking prices that didn't sell. This book, which is selling between $6-$8 on ebay in nm is at $36 in a current MCS auction and has 10 bids. It hasn't been mentioned here as it has only been available for less than 3 days. So yes, original on these boards. :grin:
