Artifiction
"Since I recently finished off a run of the two EC sci-fi fi big two, I've been able to spread them out as runs. Some killer Feldstein and Wood covers on these. Contents wise a wash. Both are classic stuff. But cover wise, does anyone have a favorite of the two titles as a whole?" It's hard to pick a favorite when they're all awesome. KirbyJack, fifties, Raze and 1 other

Silver
After seeing the crazy prices on that ToT Annual 1 CGC 5.0 this weekend, it had me wondering…what are the top most valuable $ EC’s? Is it GFC Mad 1 CGC 9.8? ToT 1 in 9.0? Or some other book?

I would also consider the pre trend EC horror tryout issues to be way up on the top of the heap as well. KirbyJack

I also think a high grade Shock Illustrated #3 would be in the conversation. Do GFC's exist of that one?

You could be right, but the sheer rarity and the quest for a complete set of EC's could run one up at any time.

Robot Man
Wow... I guess nothing surprises me any more. Wonder what the contents are? They were rebound unsold issues and varied. The more key the contents are, the more it should go for. Thanks again @Moondog! Yep, still in my “forever” collection. porcupine48

Yep, still in my “forever” collection. as I stated before this auction many times, this book was very very rare and undervalued and now 5.0 at 36K means more than myself just posting my opinion, its reality. KirbyJack
I imagine the top 5 EC money books would be Vault of Horror 12, Crypt of Terror 17, Crime Patrol 15, Haunt of Fear 15, ( and/or War Against Crime 10), and Tales of Terror annual 1. adamstrange
Crime Suspenstories 22, Shock Suspense 6 and Weird Sci Fantasy 29 would also be in the running. Definitely CSS 22! Don’t know how I forgot that one. Wouldn’t be surprised to see a Shock 6 set a record soon. Even tho I consider Mad #1 to be the most important EC comic, I think Horror is where the big money is. OtherEric
