Gaines file copies were flooding the market at the time and putting downward pressure on New Trend pricing... but there were no Gaines file copies of most of the pre-trend books and so I thought they had a lot of potential. Plus I thought they were pretty cool! Think I picked up about 30 or 40 of them, but like most of my collecting goals, other areas soon drew my attention and so its yet another goal of mine that remains unfinished! I also didn't know that she's the one that did the colors on the reprint (assuming you mean the one with a white ceiling and light blue or grey walls).
