Trick r Treat

The Return of the Living Dead

+1

Very underrated, and ROTLD introduced zombies eating brains AND the fast zombies. I'm always surprised this movie is so overlooked by a large portion of the zombie crowd. For me, it's one of the foundations of the zombie culture.

Plus...TARMAN.

ROTLD is great, but I think most casual fans overlook it because it's not a Romero zombie movie.

My favorite underrated horror gem is Scanners. People love it for the head explosion but there is much more to that movie than that one scene.

Also more underrated gems:

Dead Snow

Session 9

Frankensteins Army

Tombs of the Blind Dead - Templar Zombie movie from Spain

Bloodstone: Subspecies 2

Love most of those. I just had about an hour debate with a co worker the other day on why I thought Halloween 3 was a good movie. He was dead set on it being a dud after watching it once years ago. The whole no Mike Myers made people shun it for years. Real cool movie!!!

I tell people that if that movie had been released as 'Season of the Witch' it would've been a well received movie.

I also have to mention my love for Maximum Overdrive. So bad it's good. Every time I drive past the Estes warehouse on US 74 outside Wilmington I think about that movie and smile.

I was very impressed by "The Mist"...... one of my favorite King movies yet..... GOD BLESS...

I liked the movie until the end. Why on earth they completely changed the ending to be so utterly depressing from how the book ended I will never figure out.

..... this is one of the few King novels that I didn't read ...... maybe I should pick it up.... the movie's ending WAS very depressing. I've been on a James Rollins kick lately.... I'll have to pry myself away. GOD BLESS...

The Return of the Living Dead

I could go on and on. Some are so bad they are good (Dead Heat), some are so good they are good.

Just ordered Evilspeak and recently got Terror Vision and The Video Dead. Anyone seen those.

Halloween 3 is a classic. I play that creepy theme song every October. Tom Atkins is B-Movie greatness. Night of the Creeps, right?

The original. :headbang:

I don't think Texas Chainsaw Massacre is underrated at all. One of the greatest horror movies of all time. Even RT has it above 90%.

It was for awhile and made a huge comeback. (thumbs u
