just like to point out that I did not call the OP a jerk

Personally, I feel like it might be alright if you did. The OP keeps acting like we are all thieves and are going to break in and steal the stock.

Can someone tell us where the store is? I'm just curious as a local…

there are a lot of people who dont post very much, arent posting in here, but lurk and read lots, that would likely hunt down the store and try and buy the inventory behind his back.

Personally, I wouldnt have posted the story here at all until after it was completed/done

Fair point- that was why I PMed him too. He refused to give it up even after exchanging a few messages.

Yeah! Where is that jerk OP?!? What a way to take a dump on someone's desk and walk away like it was nothing!

But seriously, I'm still waiting on a response from the owner.

Someone is DEFINATELY moving stuff around in the display windows. The posters and comics are definitely moving.

I spoke with a shop owner near by who said that the owner comes in there every so often and says Hi. And mentioned that she was trying to reopen soon. But the "closed for renovation" sign still hasn't come down. And it's locked-up tight.

So....

If they are trying to reopen, they should do a kickstarter to get some funds to speed the process along.

lol:idea: And start a post in CG announcing it.

Well, I would hate to say I would NEVER EVER STEAL someone's property, but for instance the other day I accidentally walked-off with a person's pen when I was writing down what they wanted for lunch.

Technically I stole it, but it was not intentional. :insane:

I can't believe you stole a pen.Terrible. :foryou:

I wonder if he used it to scratch inside his ear?

This sounds like one of those things that you try your hardest to find out about, and yet you just never get a real answer about things...

i wouldn't stress about it though, maybe you might get lucky and see someone inside there one day and have a moment to speak to them.

Let's do multiple kickstarters. The more kickstarters there are, the more $$$ we can get.
