Thanks. I don't collect many non-Barks funny animal books, but some of the painted covers on the Dell Giants are very well done.

This was one of my favorite comics growing up. It belonged originally to my aunt or my mother and must have been a favorite because it was already in rough shape when I first saw it in 1974. We had this and a bunch of other Classics Illustrated comics in the drawer of an old secretary at my grandpa and grandma's cottage in Northern Michigan, which we visited almost yearly. I always read this one!

 

This issue was full of great art and I'd also like to submit that this is possibly the best Halloween story of all.

This WDCS #44 has Donald in a costume, a dark night sky and a big orange moon. I'm going to say it squeaks in. :wishluck:
