Holey karp! This was a fun show.

 

Caught up with some old clients and made new ones. Saw some old friends, got some nice books in welcoming hands, blew out some .50 books, buttons and fridge magnets, instituted free comic book day a few weeks early by excising some drek and just had a great time overall PLUS still a day to go.

Good sales today including some wall books. Comic sales far outpaced merchandise. My back issue boxes were full this morning, now many are starting to look low. Fifty-cent and dollar books were very popular. Crowds were better than last year. Guy on PA making announcements sounds horrible, can't understand most of what he's saying. Show was a bit disorganized, but way better than last year. It's fantastic to be able to drive right up to yoyr booth and unload.

Had a nice time at the show today, added a few books to the collection and got to chat with some good people. It was good talking with You Toast and nice meeting you stumptown.

 

Hope to see you both in Eugene in November.
