Harley Yee was there. If I remember right a little less than half of the dealers had gold and silver. There is a list of the dealers on the site.

How busy was Jet City in 2013? The selection of vintage comics or original art work? Was planning on driving down to visit Le May Car Museum, and re-visit Museum of Glass close to Greater Tacoma Convention Center.

I went last year and the selection of GA was not great. There was some decent SA with a few keys but not great. I don't remember what original artwork was available, sorry.

I think it was busier last year than before. It really helped to change from basically, a basement, in Seattle Center to a brand new or pretty brand new convention center space in Tacoma.

My recollection is that it had similar vendors as before and looks similar this year.

I'm not necessarily a GA or OA guy so didn't notice it last year nor do I notice it much at any con even if it's prevalent. Definitely some Silver last year but couldn't tell you how much. I know that I have some Silver. I know Cloud 9 has some (Ken may have GA too?). You could always ask him to bring some (http://www.cloudninecomics.com) and I bet he would. I don't know that there's a "Greg Reece type" guy there but also don't know all of the names of vendors.

I didn't set up last year but am this year based on the change in venue and how un-dungeony it was last year and wouldn't have done so if I didn't think it would be successful.

Man, I forgot how much work it takes to get ready for a show. For the past few weeks I have been bagging and boarding over 1,000 comics to add to what we already have done, I have been bagging G I Joes, action figures, getting 1,000's of gaming cards ready, etc. I am tired already and haven't even done the show yet.

I also got a few 1978 Battlestar Galactica cards and a comic to get signed.

Show was great. Talked to Gatchaman briefly but got distracted and didn't see him again.

They doubled the space from last year. Lots of room to roam and not jammed up in aisles which is kind of nice.

Sold lots of comics (50 centers and non-50 centers), more CGCs at one show than I have before, over 100 magnets and lots of buttons. No one major purchase but plenty of small to medium (for me) and I'm happy with my take.

Consistently had 3-4 people at my booth most of the day and often more.

Left Portland at 4 am and head hit pillow around midnight so a long but fruitful day.

Lots of fun and they are expanding to two days next year.

Can't wait!

We sold a little bit of everything we brought. We definitely needed a second space. Got to talk to a lot of people and made some good contacts. Got to see some of my friend dealers. Got some good deals on some books. Got a HC of Black Cat Mysteries and Adventures into the Unknown for half of cover (my best purchases) and some more books on my list. This show was for my kids. They made some money and had a great time. It was good seeing them work with customers.
