I'll be there and bringing my family for the first time.

Maybe.

 

It's not much of a "comic" con though... ZERO comic book guests, unless you count Emma Caufield, who is the only person on the comic book guest page.

 

I guess that's why it's called PopExpo, and not Comiccon.

 

I sure wouldn't set up as a comic book vendor, unless I was a local one.

 

Go if you want to hangout with cosplayers and see some "Celebrities", but don't expect it to be a place to find comics. There are only 2 comic vendors from what I could tell from the list:

 

COMIC DETECTIVE and FOUR COLOR COLLECTABLES.

 

I know them both. Good people.

 

Do support them if you do attend.

 

The actual Ottawa Comiccon is in May. That's the one to attend if you're a comic book fan. It's run by the same company.

The celeb and artist line-up look bleak. There could be some bigger comic book vendors too. I will see all of them of course, including the one's Brad mentioned.

 

The one in here in May is pretty good.

Just bumping a thread of an upcoming show in case someone was interested. I have no stake, and am firmly in Texas this weekend so no threat of attending.
