CHARLOTTE COMICON WINTER SHOW - Sunday December 14th

48 posts in this topic

I would agree guys

Get here early or come later in the day may be best

We're expecting record crowds again.

The FB event page back in August had 585 going and we had over 1800 show up.

This time the event page is showing 961 and should be close to 1000 by Sunday.

Do the math.............

Hey, Cap, is there an IPO in your future?

We will be bringing a full run of New Mutants, with the 87 around 9.4/9.6 and the 98 at 9.4 (w/a press). Has 4 copies of 100.

Run price is $400.

Also bringing a bunch of nice $1, $2 and $5 books. And the typical eye candy for those who may be interested....

Mainly ASM and X-Men. Nothing too high grade for $5 or less but some definitely some decent filler if you need/want those titles.

I :sorry: didn't get the rest of the bronze/copper I wanted. Next time perhaps

Had a good time. I felt that the layout was better compared to the summer show. Moving the Cosplay to their own area really helped the keep the isles in the main room clear enough for everyone to move around and dig through boxes.

There was a decent mix of books in the room; and filled a few holes in my collection.

Looking forward to the spring show.

Didn't quite hit the August show numbers - 1788 people..................but still not too shabby

Thanks to all the board members that came out.

Al Stoltz of Basement Comics even came down and shopped early Sunday.

And to quote Al - "Show was fantastic !!!!! Best one day show I have been to in years. Great selection of comics. Super polite and gracious dealers"

Pics soon
