This is an easier newsstand book to find. Out of the 30-40 I've sold probably 5 were newsstand copies. Theres usually always at least one 9.8 on the bay and sometimes sellers wont even figure it into the pricing.............sometimes.

The first I had even heard of the Pressman variants was after I got an alert from eBay that an X-Men #11 9.8 was up. I was looking for a regular copy and imagine my surprise when I saw the silver cover. After I did a bit of research I decided to pick it up and then of course I had to get the rest. I was able to get the #303 and #297 from the same person (thanks Billy!!) but also found a #297 in the wild that graded 9.8 which I promptly sold. I was able to pick up another #11 that graded 9.8 which I currently have listed on eBay if anyone is interested. The #307 was the one that kept alluding me. There were 3 times when I thought I had lucked up on a copy that might grade well, but the best I got was a 9.4. Finally, this copy came about on the cheap. It has some color rub on the back that I thought was going to keep it from 9.8, but what the hell do I know, right??? And finally after picking up the #11 way back in 2012 I'm able to close the book on this hunt
