FF is PGA graded 6.5 -------- asking $45.00 (overstreet fine is $48)

X-men 48 is a VF---------------- asking $55.00 (overstreet VF $63.00)

X-men 93VF/NM----------------- asking $50.00 (overstreet VF/NM $59)

TOS 83 is a beautiful copy EXCEPT for a diagonal crease bottom right corner.------asking $40.00 (overstreet VF $43)

Revised pricing. I looked at the books again and the X-men 48 has a couple of "stains" on the spine. Not sure exactly what it is so I will downgrade it to fine/vf and reduce the price to $35.00 Still a nice looking book. Also the FF to $40.00

Lots of collectors won't pay more then 50% of guide for raw books in the FN to VF condition.

 

Realize, unless the books a key, it's not that hard to find CGC VF copies at guide price. And that means someone spent $25 to tell you that's it's an unrestored VF copy.

Actually...tons of books are now selling below guide in the mid to mid-hi grades. I sold graded ASM 20, 40 and GL 59 last year and none of them hit guide. Overstreets prices dropped on many mid grades....kind of a shame and i may start collecting 7's and 8's exclusively because they are still beautiful books and much more fun than owning one 9.4 for the same price as 10-20 mid grades!

We are saying the same thing.

 

Basically, raw books in the mid-grades (and even bronze up to VF/NM) won't usually come close to guide prices.
