Popular Post LowGradeBronze
Prices remain firm on Doctor Strange (169 to 183) series. I'm trying to fill a few gaps and sellers have pretty tall price tags on mediocre copies and anything genuinely above a VG is out my range. No one seems to want to auction them to see what buyers will pay! The 178 to 183 end is where Gene Colan's art is at its very best, ever! aardvark88, jimjum12, PopKulture and 3 others
kimik
Batman and Tec have weathered the current market relatively well. Plenty of non-key issues with main villain covers have been continuing to creep up, as well as the keys and a lot of common run books I. High grade. They have taken the tortoise route where slow and steady wins the price gains year after year. Larryw7, JTLarsen and Microchip

Popular Post Lee Enterprises
This is my favorite ASM cover of all time (AF #15 is in its own category) and this book is heating up (or just plain hot) in higher grades. I first saw an ASM #4 as a kid at B&D Comics in Roanoke, VA in the early 1980s. It was in a glass revolving showcase and it was $75. That was a lot of money to me as a kid so I didn't buy it and all I could do was dream of owning one. I've owned several since then starting with a bargain $20 mail order purchase that I no longer have. This CGC 9.0 is the best I've come up with so far. Bought it off the drug store rack as a kid. The Sandman blew me away. How do you defeat a guy like that? Read it to bits. Still one of my favorite Spiderman issues. Sadly, I no longer have a copy. Without giving away the ending for someone who hasn't read it, I laugh now when I think about how Spider-Man defeated and "contained" the Sandman at the end of issue #4.
