I feel like this was already discussed on the board, but don't want to trawl through 50 plus pages to double check-- might have been the Doomsday set that I remember from before.  Anyway, here's photo confirmation that there are at least 2 different Funeral for a Friend Collector's Sets.  One has the 3rd printing on top (printings on other comics in the box unknown) and the other has the 4th print/ DCU version shown (on the right).  One presumes that means they had to go back to print at some point when making these particular sets to make the DCU.  They appear identical to me otherwise.

I know I had brought this up before. Yes. There are at least two different versions of the Funeral Packs and two versions of the Death pack. Then there is the Dual pack that has both packs. 

I have also opened several of each of the 5 versions and the contents even with the same packs can vary as to which printings are on the inside.  The best version of the funeral packs came with the MOS 20  Second and the Sup 77 Third DCU's where other versions had 1st and 2nd prints of those.  I found the same inconsistency in the dual packs as well.

Our only consolation is that there should have been enough of these packs opened that if some other DCU printing existed among the various contents someone would have found it by now.

I am so bummed for missing not only an actual sale of GG: W #28 DCU but also TWO listings of Impulse Annual #1 DCU back in January.    I've been quietly looking for GG:W #28 ever since I realized it had to exist unless DC screwed us over à la Aquaman: Time & Tide #4.

In a side note, dear boardies, I have an extensive want list for DCUs and ridiculous stacks of extras if you need something less rare. I am also offering a bounty of $100+ for Legionnaires #20 DCU.  My base offer is $100+ for an intact, decent looking copy and will go higher for high grade.

Yeah.. I definitely missed out on those Impulse as well.

You have killed me dead.  Work has been so busy this month I cannot believe I missed all of these.  I usually check eBay daily but have slacked off.  On the upside, it's excellent evidence that HOLY #$%^&*() Azrael #22 DCU does exist.

Lol!  I think you mostly need to worry about that when @onlyweaknesskryptonite posts, but you never know!  I managed to send a large batch of books before CGC hiked their prices, and they are still coming back.  Most weren't DCUs (I have to fund this DCU obsession somehow....) but I should have a few more good ones to post about.   I also sent some promising Zero Hour UPCs in, though I am not sure if they will be labeled or not.

Yup!   By the way, I believe that Superman 117 DCU of your is rare, let alone in a 9.4.   There was a time when thought it was only a myth that it existed.

Yes, it's definitely one you don't see as often in the wild, though it's funny how my definition of rare changes once I have a copy of something!  By default, all the issues I still need are rarer than Superman 117 now.   

I do have an extra to trade if anyone finds something special off my want list.
