mysterio
Picked up a stack of around 50 of these this weekend. I'll hopefully process them tonight and will update any that are new to the list. (It was such a fun box diving session!)
mysterio
In going through my haul from the weekend I found a few variants that aren't on the list, and I also got to wondering if the Justice League books are listed correctly. I'm pretty sure that the books listed under Justice League (International) may in fact be mislabeled Justice League of America. The #69 4th print Doomsday book is a JLA, not a JLI as listed in the DCU list, and if all of those are actually JLAs then my additions are moot. I also found JLI books that are not on the list. Edit: If the Justice League (Europe) books are also mislabeled and should be JLI, then my discoveries below are also moot and would fit right into the known books. Does anyone have any Justice League Europe DCUs they could confirm on and/or scan? My discoveries are as follows, some with scans but I can scan all of them if desired. New DC Logo (Bullet) book Justice League of America #83 New DC Universe books Steel #2 Edited February 10, 2015 by mysterio
revat
mysterio you are correct that some corrections need to be made regarding JLA/JLI/JLE. I think one of the titles changed to another title and I got confused.

mysterio
Thanks for that! I just hadn't seen many of the Justice League variants until yesterday so I never paid that much attention. On a list of this size with a lot of moving parts it is very easy to make an error. So do we know if any Justice League Europe books have DCU variants? revat
If you're super bored or out and about, here's a list of ones that I THINK might exist based on the holes in arcs in the list above: Animaniacs 17, Flash 103, GL 60, JLA 94 or 96 (but not both) Justice League Task Force 21, Robin 10 or 12, Superboy 10 or
revat
Justice League Europe became Justice League International. Justice League International had DC Bullet Logo UPC Variants in issue 58 and 59 (pretty rare), and typically all the DCUniverse variants come AFTER the bullet issues, so unless there was a rare reprint of a much earlier comic (Green Lantern 36 for example), then probably not any that were still under the title Justice League Europe, although it is possible. Those are odd gaps around long runs. During some downtime I occasionally search eBay to see if any of these issues pop up with DCUs, but of course these are very rarely sold individually. I do really appreciate you having started and keeping up this list!

mysterio
Just saw this post in the WTB section, thought the photos and info could be of use to those of us hunting these things: Hi. I've found almost all the DC Universe variants that I need, and now I'm down to just needing a few of them. They have been pretty hard to find, so I would gladly pay $50 for each of them if in FN or better condition. I'm looking for the following: Action 706 Batman 517 Adv of Superman 530 If you have any of these and would like to sell, feel free to send me a private message or contact me directly at kwticknor@aol.com. I have 500+ transactions on ebay with perfect feedback, and I always pay right away. thanks Kirk Ticknor p.s. Following are some links to a couple postings I did on DC Universe variants, so that you can see the type of variant I am looking for. The DC Universe variants have a "DC Universe" in the UPC box on the cover, and I think that most of them were from multipacks that were sold in toy stores about 10 years ago. Chances are there are some of these sitting in your little brother's closet! http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Board=4&Number=7041600&Searchpage=1&Main=314328&Words=&topic=0&Search=true#Post7041600 http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=7061584#Post7061584 Also see this other post by Cpt Kirk with the list/photos of the Batman books. Cpt Kirk
Great posting. I appreciate your efforts. I believe Jerome34 probably has a handle on these better than just about anyone else alive. Your master list looks great. I can confirm that all the ones listed for Action, Batman, Detective, Superman, Adv of Superman, Superman:MOS, Superman: MOT, and Justice League exist except as noted below (because I either have them or know of someone who does). Here's just a few comments: Action 693 & 694 are DC bullet issues. You can see scans on my Collector's Society posting regarding DCU variants of Action Comics (just google "action DCU variant collector's society captain kirk" and it should pop up) I have doubts that Batman 513 DCU exists. I would love to see a scan. I have doubts that Superman 97 DCU exists. I would love to see a scan. kind regards, Captain Kirk
