Comprehensive List of DC Universe Logo UPC Variants

One thing I have definitely noticed now after the last two conventions that I have attended is that the dealers are no longer over looking DCU variants. Several had either a separate box of DCU variants or had them in with their “premium” variants.
I noticed this starting to happen back in 2019. With one dealer in particular I had chosen a few books from a newly acquired collection to buy. He thumbed through them and separated the DCU variants and made mention to me that they would cost more since they were the DCU Prints, but he had no idea of the value either way.

I think the days of finding these in the $1-$2 book bins is coming to a close.

Now it seems everyone has caught on, good or bad…

Ok, thought so.

Love the Bat Symbol but do you know if they actually made one with “DCU” logo?

I have not found one . I do not believe they did, but that doesn't mean one will not turn up.

Warlord -   You are a true variant scientist.  I am pretty sure I opened the Batman pack with same results, but I've never opened the Green Lantern pack.  Thanks for sharing!

And I think the other trend is that the really rare DCU's are commanding crazy prices while the others are getting very hard to sell for even just a few bucks now that most of the variant nuts like me have found them all except the super rare. The craziest prices seem to occur with the Death of Superman DCUs in 9.8 or above.  Since most came in packs that were sold in toy stores, it is very unusual to see a DCU in 9.8 or above.

Yes, definitely seems that way!  Still, I get the feeing there is a relatively small number of people willing to pay high dollar for them. I made a custom set for mine… have all but one in 9.8 and would be forever in anyone’s debt that could assist me with the last one in 9.8, Adventures of Superman 499 3rd printing.  Here’s a link to the custom set if interested (there are pics there (thumbsu):

Even NM is hard even on the common issues.

I still pick them up for $1 or less, but the books that are harder to find are actually harder to find.

Does anyone know of any sales data on Superboy 32 DCU? I have no idea on how to price it as I cannot find any active or completed listings for one.

Only one I have seen come up by itself was this one. Which did sell for the BIN.20220222_000007.thumb.jpg.44421263f178ff2c5d46d831d00be07f.jpg
