Small shows

Any recommendations on good small (or perhaps "smaller") shows in the US?

That's like asking "what are some good non-chain burger restaurants in the US?".

 

What is your definition of small shows? Where do you live? How far are you willing to travel? What sort of things are you looking to buy? Do you want creators to be there or just comics?

Looking for comics and creators. Shows that are just big enough to host a handful of big name creators.

There's on in Dallas every three months. Honestly love it as I always come away with something cool.

The South Jersey Comic Con in Cherry Hill NJ, is always a solid show.

Clifton NJ Comic Book Expo... Usually (but not always) light on creators, but over 60 tables of comics every month. Everything from bargain books to serious graded keys. www.njcomicbookshows.com

Clifton is an amazing show! Great atmosphere and a buzz in the room.

+1 The February and October shows especially are a good size. They attract an array of dealers and are good for a few celebs. When they sprinkle a few comic names in they're especially nice.

And to me, a small show is a one-day convention with a handful of guests and around 25-30 dealers.
