I don't like writing or "overt" stickers on the short boxes.

 

So they are numbered discretely. All the comics are in strict indicia alphabetical order, so it's pretty easy to determine what books are where through the handhold cutout.

 

No light in the room, unless I am there too (for those worried about fading).

 

 

 

Works well. There are about 90 short boxes.

 

 

 

Obviously, there are bookcases not shown.

This was from when we first moved to our new house. Ikea shelves and Container Store magazine holders. We have put a bigger TV there now. That one was just way too small for that space.

I'd still be worried about the cutout leaving an impression on the comics, over time. I always have a comic board, or at least the first comic turned around, at the front-end of a box like that.

I have no organization, they're all over the place in short boxes and long boxes. Some in my son's room under his bed in the closet under our bed at my work on shelves in filing cabinets, it's crazy I tell you

Note: I do not have ASM #1 and such, that is mostly a "placeholder" box for now...Need about 46 issues to complete the ASM run. There are other boxes but just "behind the wall" so you can't see them in the pic.

 

My "comic room" is undergoing a bit of a reno soon, so just showing the closet.
