Thoughts of X-men apocalypse casting

After x-men DOTF I was really looking forward to see this film. Now it is start looking like another X-men last stand maybe they call for Bret Ratner soon to replace Signer as director. First it looked good. Film about Apocalypse. Apocalypse origin .Young actors to play Scott,Jean,Ororo and Kurt. Then I red somewhere that some X-men producer was really wanting to see Channing Tatum as Gambit. So then they announced Tatum as Gambit. Then news broke out that Jubilee is in this film also and now Olivia Munn is cast as Psylocke

 

Probably Psylocke and Jubilee are in this film for very shot time but still I dont understand why there is suddenly so many characters? If the film is good it will do fine in box office just like those Marvel movies are doing you dont have to make these kinda choices to get extra people to go to see the film.

If they are fighting against Apocalypse they are going to need all the X-Men they can find.

If you don't, then don't bother to go see it.

 

I really liked DoFP, and I can't wait for some Apocalypse.

Last Stand was what over a decade ago, right? the first film literally close to 20 years old.

 

I could understand the whole" Fox sucks because Last stand sucked" argument maybe 5-6 years ago but let it go dude..

 

my kids weren't even born then, I was still in college, and America was still in war from 9/11.

 

Whats next? Dinosaurs weren't cool enough?? Black and White Television is lame??

 

were you even old enough to be allowed into the theatre when this came out?

Yeah I am not really person_without_enough_empathying about X-men last stand. It was bad sure but I think that X-men2 is bit over rated. Yep it was good film back then when there wasnt this many good comicbook films like now but X-men DoFP is so much better than x-men1 or 2. What I am person_without_enough_empathying about is basicly the fact that X-men DoFP was good that every character had some dept. This time Jennifer Lawrence had enough screen time etc with the Apocalypse movie there is so many new character plus the old character from last two movies so that why it will maybe suck.

I loved First Class and DoFP and am looking forward to Apocalypse. IMO, Psylocke deserved a more prominent role in an X-Men movie, and the actress cast needed to be hot for goodness sake!

Actually, the only one I still watch is DoFP, but I really like it.

Casting Olivia Munn annoys me because this is what she does dressing in some hot comicbook/game character cos she a "NERD" so casting Munn maybe get couple more of her fans to see the film. It just smell like corporate decision all the way like Tatum and Jubilee.

I also fear seeing her in the movie will be like "look, I'm Olivia Munn dressed in a 'Psylocke' costume! Can somebody please point me to SDCC so I can deliver my report now?"

No idea who Olivia Munn is. I think we should all be happy that Kirsten Stewart, or Kayley Cucuo isn't going to be in it.

 

However, I would love to see Liev Schriber return as Sabertooth
