The LOS ANGELES COMIC BOOK AND SCIENCE FICTION CONVENTION presents HAYLEY ATWELL, who stars as Agent Peggy Carter in the ABC Series AGENT CARTER and in Marvel Movies ANT-MAN, CAPTAIN AMERICA, CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER and AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON, and LOREN LESTER, the Voice of ROBIN and NIGHTWING on BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES and THE ADVENTURES OF BATMAN AND ROBIN among the Special Guests appearing at the SUNDAY, AUGUST 23, 2015 show. The show will be held at THE REEF (also known as LA Mart).

 

HAYLEY ATWELL can currently be seen starring in AGENT CARTER on ABC in which she reprises her role of Agent Peggy Carter. Hayley starred as Agent Peggy Carter in the Marvel Movies Ant-Man, Captain America, Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Avengers: Age of Ultron. Hayley has starred in such movies as Kenneth Branagh's Cinderella; Jimi: All is By My Side; The Duchess; Brideshead Revisted; I, Anna; and The Sweeney. Hayley's Television credits include the BBC'S The Line of Beauty; ITV'S The Prisoner; The Pillars of the Earth; Any Human Heart; Mansfield Park and Restless. Hayley will sign autographs from 12:00 P.M.-2:00 P.M.* Agent Carter returns to ABC in January 2016.

 

LOREN LESTER is a highly successful voice-over actor best known for creating the roles of "Robin" and "Nightwing" on BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES and THE ADVENTURES OF BATMAN AND ROBIN. Loren is the voice of "Iron Fist" in The Avengers: Earth's Mightest Heroes and "Hal Jordan, The Green Lantern" on Batman: The Brave and the Bold. Loren starred in the cult films Rock 'N' Roll High School (as Fritz Hansel) and Evilspeak (as Charlie Boy). Loren starred as Roy for 5 seasons on The Facts of Life TV series and he has appeared in over 200 TV episodes of various shows such as Parenthood, Bones, NCIS, Ringer, Good Luck Charlie and Castle. Loren had a recurring role on the HBO comedy series Hung, Victorious, Gilmore Girls, General Hospital, The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless. Loren signs autographs 11:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M. and he will appear on a panel to discuss his film career.*

 

FRED LADD was among the first to introduce Anime to the US with TV shows such as GIGANTOR, ASTRO BOY and KIMBA THE WHITE LION. In 1963 Fred wrote, produced and directed the english language version of Osamu Tezuka's Mighty Atom renamed ASTRO-BOY. Astro Boy was the first successful anime series dubbed in english for American TV audiences. In 1965 Fred renamed Mitsuteru Yokoyama's Tetsujin 28-Go as Gigantor and wrote, produced and directed the english language version. In 1966, Fred had another anime success with Osamu Tezuka's Jungle Emperor renamed Kimba the White Lion for the US. Fred wrote and produced animated feature films Pinocchio in Outer Space and Journey Back to Oz, the animated series The Big World of Little Adam, Battle of the Planets and a new updated color series of Gigantor in 1980. Fred was creative consultant on the 1995 Sailor Moon TV series, the writer, producer and director of the english language dubbed versions of the Pippi Longstocking Movies Pippi on the Run and Pippin in the South Seas. The Gigantor animated TV series celebrates it's 50th Anniversary this year and new Toys are being released! Fred Ladd will be signing autographs from 11:00 A.M.-4:00 P.M.*

 

Producer JACK H. HARRIS signs his new book, FATHER OF THE BLOB: THE MAKING OF A MONSTER SMASH AND OTHER HOLLYWOOD TALES which covers the making of his Classic 1958 Horror Movie The Blob starring Steve McQueen and his other films such as 4D Man (1959), Dinosaurus! (1960), E quinox (1970), Schlock (1973) and Dark Star (1974) Written and Directed by John Carpenter (Halloween, The Fog, Escape from New York). Jack signs all copies of his book purchased at his table from 1:00 P.M.-2:00 P.M.

 

POWER RANGERS Appearing in Person are ALYSON KIPERMAN, who starred as Lt. Taylor Earhardt, the Yellow Eagle Power Ranger and PHILLIP JEANMARIE, who starred as Max Cooper, the Blue Shark Power Ranger in POWER RANGERS WILD FORCE and DEBORAH ESTELLE PHILIPS, who starred as Katie Walker, the Yellow Time Force Ranger in POWER RANGERS TIME FORCE. Alyson, Phillip and Deborah each starred in 40 episodes of their series. Alyson was the first Yellow Power Ranger Team Leader. Alyson, Phillip and Deborah sign autographs from 11:00 A.M.-4:00 P.M.*

 

ALE GARZA art has been featured in such Marvel, DC, Top Cow, Wildstorm and Dynamite Comics titles as Marvel Adventures: Spider-Man, Deadpool, Teen Titans, Batgirl, Supergirl, Superman/Batman, Young Justice, Witchblade, Ninja Boy, Gen 13, Kato and Vampirella. Ale has his own creator-owned title Maiden Age. Ale will take art commissions and sign autographs from 11:00 A.M.-4:00 P.M.

 

MIKE MAYHEW art has been featured in Marvel, DC and Dark Horse Comics as Avengers, Guardians Team-Up, Spider-Gwen, Deadpool, She-Hulk, Mystique, Green Arrow, Justice League and The Star Wars. Mike's painted cover artwork is featured in such Dynamite Comics as Vampirella, Jennifer Blood and Bionic Man. Mike will be doing sketches, taking art commissions, signing autographs and bringing along his sketch covers and prints from 10:00 A.M.-5:00 P.M.

 

DICKEY BEER is a Second Unit Director, Second Unit Coordinator and Stunt Performer. Dickey is most known for his Stunt Performer work for STAR WARS: EPISODE VI-THE RETURN OF THE JEDI doing stunt doubling for Jeremy Bulloch's Boba Fett as well as portraying Barada, Sergeant Junkin, a Stormtrooper and Biker Scout. Dickey worked on Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Total Recall, Superman III, Terminator 3, Supergirl, An American Werewolf in London, Dune, Cutthroat Island, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, and many others. Dickie will sign autographs from 11:00 A.M.-4:00 P.M.*
