All this talk about 80's nostalgia has me wondering whether one of the biggest hits of the decade will make a back issue comeback?

I enjoyed M Golden's art & covers. Can't be that many surviving in nm as they were thrown into the 50 cent bin after the title ended. Back issues would be resuscitated if Todd does a Nam action figure to compete with GI Joe.

I was a fan of the series back in the day but don't see the back issues making a comeback. GI Joe, Transformers, Robotech, TMNT, Thundercats, MOTU, etc. all had much greater media exposure (movies, cartoons, toys, comics and/or other merchandise) than The 'Nam, whose 84-issue run had virtually zero recognition outside the comic world. In addition, all of the above mentioned '80s titles have had relaunched series and as far as I can tell, Marvel has no intention of reviving The 'Nam.

 

I admit that I do own a CGC'd copy of issue #1, though. wink.gif

I have the first 10 issues still of that series. I doubt it will make any comeback but I hope it does. smile.gif

What terrific artwork! The cover of #2 is one of my favorites. I bought multiple copies of issues 1-5 and don't care if they increase in value or not. I think they are great books.
