If you didn't care for crime and were a more serious comic reader you could always pick up a copy of Real Fact. These comics were filled with actual stories adapted from real life. They also had an early letters page with names and addresses of early fans. Interesting, they must have thought that readers of this comic were more literate than the rest of the line.

Real Fact is a great comic!

Here is a question for you OBSCURE D.C. specialists!

Really like the art on this story. comics.org has it as "Howard Sherman?"

Is this Howard Sherman? Where else did he do such good work?

Thanks!

I have recently reunited the various assortments of my collection ( with the help of drawer boxes plug plug)

I am now going back and scanning silver and gold DC that I had not gotten to a decade ago,

Starting with long box 2 which is still almost all A's

I found a small group of DC ADVENTURES OF... Perhaps a dozen in consisting of Bob Hope, Martin and Lewis and well as Jerry Lewis on his own. Would others be interested in seeing those here? If so after i finish and upload I will post them here.

Truthfully they are much more Silver than Gold, but they are fairly OBSCURE.

Eventually i will get to a small selection of Real Fact, Gang Busters and a few more actual Gold

Classic cover. I really wish I had a copy.

If I remember correctly, most of the Peter Panda comics are listed as 5 or 6's in the Gerber guide, but I'm wondering if some aren't a little more difficult to find.

Here's my (oft shown) copy:

Apparently Veryzl has a stash of them.

I love this thread! I have a complete run of Peter Panda and Rex the Wonder Dog, both pretty obscure titles. I've only slabbed one book from each run... Rex #1 and a Peter Panda #5. Here they are... bad photos notwithstanding.

Nice! Particularly sharp copy of PP 5.
