I know I'm a bit late on this but I am curious as to how it was determined that the request I made considered the comics I asked to be adjusted due to rarity actual caused the points to be deducted 60 points and not increased 60 points?

I think the Registry is at the absolute bottom of CGC's 'To Do' list. Last I read Gemma gave up on score updates. I think the thread is locked for further requests. It's just not important anymore.

OK OK, guys. I have tried but I admit defeat again....everyone was inquiring about when scoring updates were coming and how long until the site was fixed (which it is not) so I thought I would try and work on a few updates. I have spent most of the day messing with Hulk 102 and it's not even close to being done. I've received multiple messages regarding this. Additionally, I am trying to grade. And I'm starting to train someone on the other registry tasks.

So, I am locking this thread to stop additional requests. I am going to slowly try to get to the issues I said are DONE and check them. Then I will consider working on some more as this is overly time consuming for the result.

 

I know you have all been patient. This is out of my hands as long as the site is still broken...sorry.

Yes, this is the post where she waves the white flag. To the OP, it's possible your point adjustment was a by product of the problems Gemma was having.

My issue was resolved, last year. Look at the links, look at the dates.

 

I am inquiring as to why, when mentioned, there are only 10 issues, EVER produced, they decided to DEDUCT 60 points from the registry point system.

 

Kinda seems a bit crazy, don't you think? I could understanding just adding ONLY 60 points, because it is indeed only a 9.4 but to take AWAY 60 points? Absurd

I think I am misreading it. Looking at this lone sub, I see the score was initially 160, then taken out and readded as 280.

 

Mine was taken out at 60, then readded at 105.

 

I don't understand why it would show that, but makes sense at the same time, as it shows complete history of what changes have been made to that cert #

 

Sorry Gemma, as always doing a fantastic job. Not made any easier by simpletons like myself
