So happy for you man! Planet 1’s are not easy to come by. I was lucky to have this one for the past 3 years. I’m glad it’s going to a good home (and going back to Canada, where it was before it came to me).

WOW! I just noticed the absolutely incredible collection of Planets coming to ComicLink. Someone put together a very nice, high grade collection. 

I would love to upgrade just one rivet issue, but that seems unlikely with these high grade beauties!

I actually don’t think I recognize any of them. Pretty sure I’ve never see that #1 before, and it’s a different 6.5 #2 than the one entalmighty or mattnNY have (3 6.5’s on the census). That old label Planet #7, I’m almost sure I’ve never seen. Same on the old label #22.  I’m thinking this collection is not coming from a boardie.

I think these books belong to mikephoen who is a board member.

I do recall seeing some of his posts, I think mostly in the Fiction House thread, from years ago. I don’t think I’ve seen him post much in the last few years (basically since I was inflicted with the Planet addiction!)

If those are Mike's, he did put together a very nice run of Planets. He collected very high grade books ( for example he owns a 9.0 Planet #3, and the highest graded copy of #34 with deep greens).

I bought some of his under copies. The number 2 looks a lot like his copy, and I suspect these are his under copies.

Oh man, if these are his under copies then that is quite impressive!

The colors on that Planet 4 are spectacular.

yes, but I recall he purchased a cgc 9.2 with colors just as nice. My Planet #3 is his under copy, it is a cgc 7.5

I was able to track down a couple of old posts in the Fiction House thread. Definitely the same 7 and 8.
