I find this hilarious. 

I mean the difference between 9.4 and 9.6 is negligible really.

Here’s one that just never comes up in this grade but needs no introductions in terms of its desirability.
As high as this went, considering it ended on a non peak day- a holiday, at a non peak time, during an economic downturn I’d say the winner got a sweet deal . This is a Frazetta masterpiece for sure.

Heritage has been, fairly consistently, the worst place to sell magazines.  It's just not, so far, the place that magazine collectors are looking for quality material.  About 12 years ago, I purchased a copy of Eerie 81 CGC 9.6 W for $66.  Not much has changed since then.

I remember seeing this on the news-stand/mag rack back in the day. Never thought it would have any value. I will have to reconsider the old adage, "you can't polish a turd". Evidently CGC can.

Elvira has had a nostalgic resurgence the last few years. In this case, not being able to look inside may have increased the value.
