Paul's Mission Impossible one shot brings us up to 1,325 confirmed APVs now:

 

It has the same barcode numbering as the US newsstand copy:

That's a nice copy for sure, almost an artifact of sorts, it's unique enough

It's all quiet on the Australian front with no new Marvel finds to comment on. 

Stepping aside from Marvel for a moment, I've noticed a lot of eBay sellers incorrectly listing licensed Image reprints as "Australian Price Variants" lately. 

Here is one such listing:

It shows an Australian reprint of the original US first printing of Spawn #12.

If we compare it to the original book:

  
                              US Original #12 $1.95                                                   AUS Reprint #10 $3.95

And the indicias:

 US First Printing. July 1993, Printed in Canada

AUS Licensed reprint (Trielle) December 1995, Printed in Australia

Different barcodes too.

The books are very similar, and could catch out those who are uneducated and unfamiliar with the differences. Like CGC, maybe

These three AUS Barkers are on eBay currently missing, as usual, the fourth issue:

There are three potentially missing issues across three of the four Barker titles:

Here are a few other books that have yet to materialise (there are others, but these stick out a bit):

Ghost Rider #30:

Night Thrasher Four Control #1:

Spider-Man 2099 #40:

Spectacular Spider-Man #239:

Sabretooth #2 and 4:

There's no reason that I can see why these issues wouldn't exist as AUS copies - each has a standard US newsstand copy (see below) and there are no obvious informative patterns as to why one or more of them may not have made the cut. 

   

But the longer the absence goes on....

Two of the three missing Barkers have just turned up finally:

Hokum & Hex #4:

 

And Saint Sinner #3:

 

I've seen a few sets of AUS Hyperkind 1-3's online, so maybe #4 doesn't exist?

Question for the community: What is the third most valuable APV?

I assume that NM 98 is the first and ASM 361 is the second.

Two more finds this morning - one expected, one not.

First up, Barbie Fashion #21:

That one was expected - and there are still some more Barbies to be found I believe - but this second one I had given up hope on - Spider-Man Classics #10:

I had actually marked that set as complete at issues 1-9 given the time elapsed. And it is only the fifth book with an (AUS) April 1994 cover date:

Perhaps there are more out there after all....

These two bring us to 1,329 confirmed Marvel APVs now.
