Something I've not noticed before, the absence of the CCA code on the AUS copy of X-Force #5:

I think there are some more actually Ganni - I think I may have posted another example some time back but I'm not sure if it was an APV now. Will have a dig around later.

Didn't take long - Barbie fell foul of the code!

You can always rely on Barbie it seems. Well, the Australian one anyway :)

What makes this interesting... It was the time when the CCA seal is not printed in most comic books regardless where it was printed.  Eventually the CCA seal was not obligatory anymore.

I don't know when the CCA seal was dropped for good without looking it up, but I think it's more likely that it is missing from Barbie #14 in error rather than by design / requirement. It was there 10 issues later....

I'm fairly sure it went on for years after that too...

Marvel dropped the CCA in 2001 though some specific issues or titles did not carry it when it was a thing.

That harlot!

Perhaps against expectations, the code in Australia must've been stricter

Also this may have been picked up already but there is an AUS version of The Ren and Stimpy Show 1 which is dated July 1994.  It uses the same cover as US version 21 dated August 1994.  Due to the timing and cover I expect that this is a reprint but wanted to flag as I did not see this on the overall list of Marvel APV's!

All, while we are discussing the CCA seal not appearing on some comics there are also some APV's where the month was not included either.  One example is X-Men Unlimited 1.  I included the US version for a comparison and the month also reappears on X-Men Unlimited 2 APV.

Good spot! I've got a few examples saved in the files and it's missing on all of them - in error I would have thought

It's a local Trielle reprint TK2, so doesn't qualify:

I've posted about it earlier in the thread.

Only the two genuine APVs it seems - 12 & 13 - as group shots like these help to underline:

To help with the APV database while we hunt down the remaining copies of potential APV comics are there any existing comics you have with poor/partial scans that you would like better versions?

One or two perhaps I think thanks, yes. There might be a few where the price isn't clear. I'll have a look in the files and let you know.
