It must be a printing error. I went back to the "source material" and she didn't have a beauty mark.

He signed this about 20 years ago; Len signed it at SDCC 2002 and Bernie had already signed it by then.  I have several other books that are signed similarly, all from the same timeframe.

I foolishly sold a 7.0 copy with White pages several years ago before the big run-up. Like usual, I thought prices were steady and I could always buy one back at a reasonable price. A few months back, my LCS got a 5.0 in and had it in their showcase, where I looked at it every week debating about getting back in the club. This past weekend I was able to talk them down from their asking price to a price I was VERY happy with. Here's the copy in question:

I guess I need to join this club.  My copy is not graded, and I don't know what the page quality is.  I bought it around 1972 or '73.  It was in a 25cent box at Bond Street Books in Hollywood. I guess I should have bought more of them...

Jumped on that 5.0 last month when someone listed it in FB marketplace for well below GPA, and the 4.0 is fresh back from CGC. Will I stop, most certainly not...I really want to upgrade that 7.0 to perhaps an 8.0 or better one day.

Interesting comparison between two of the top BA grails...HoS is by far the rarest in high grade.

That looks like a gorgeous 6.0. The colors look fantastic and white pages are tough on this book.
