Gray Morrow..

I've always liked his art, underappreciated in his era. the red circle stuff is fabulous. I just found a gray morrow autograph on a power rangers #1 I bought at a 3 for $1 sale, so I was really surprised he did the art on those books.

 

very sad how his life ended though. was just reading about it. i had a relative, a surgeon, who also got that disease (albeit in his late 30s) and also ended it because he was not going to be able to function. brutal.

Among Warren's early stable of artists, which is where I was first exposed to his work.

Just gorgeous stuff. A true master.
