See I knew I would open myself up to personal attacks. I think I have a valid concern. Even the seller in question sent me a PM and wants to back out. 

Just on this page alone I have purchased from Bird and JimJum12. Had great experiences both times. Don't worry Sean I won't buy from you.

I have to respectfully disagree. A claim is a claim, regardless of what transpires after the fact. I'm not looking to pile on but that is the proper etiquette.

I think we could chalk this up to a lesson learned. The rules here on the forum may be different than in other forums/social media sites. I think if you both agree to move on, then, that would be for the best.

I would have done a much better job had I chosen to personally attack you.  I merely stated what your buying behavior looks like to me, and my desire to not get whipsawed by what that type of behavior might entail down the line.

You believe it is mere negotiation, and that is fine.  I don't and I stand by that assessment.

You're describing eBay behavior, which doesn't fly here.  In the future, you'd be better off pm'ing the seller in advance on all books that you're interested in to work out a package deal.  Using the  and then trying to back out when further negotiations don't go your way is just going to open you up to a host of problems.

Not so. The deal on the first book is done if you said . Done. If negotiations for other items fail, you are still obligated on that first hit.

I buy all the time on here, there is no better place to almost guarantee, cheaper prices, better grading, honest sellers and perfect packing.

In all the years I have been buying, I don't ever remember making an offer, I either if the price is right, or I don't if its not, that way you never have to deal with these type of issues and there is always another book around the corner.

I think if you have put the in a sellers thread, then honor the deal and keep your rep intact, then just don't from them buy again.

Around these parts, your reputation is all you have.

In this Forum,  typically means a done deal, but I have had a time or two where I failed to notice a flaw ( in my haste ) and asked for out. We all make mistakes. GOD BLESS...

Asking for an out because of a missed flaw or being too eager with a take is different than demanding an out on the first take because the buyer felt that automatically entitled him to heavy discounts on additional purchases. 

As a seller I've always let people out of their takes if it's really an issue for them. I'm not going to force someone to buy something they don't really want. However, depending on context, I may or may not tell every other seller i know to avoid that buyer and add him to their personal do not deal lists.

This is way off what I originally posted. I was happy to take my original  but after being scolded in a personal message that I was already getting a good deal I wanted to possibly cancel. I checked here first to see it it was within my "rights" and clearly it is not.  

As I seem to recall Ryan you and I had two very successful trades without issue. Or am I wrong about that.
