While my recently-posted Whiz Bang (#4) at least managed one on census, these next two related books remain at zero on census.  If you're familiar with the interiors, would you slab even if cost-effective?    Or maybe they just really are scarce as hell.  But i do know that at least the first one below was made available as a postcard.  Cool.

Is that actually a comic book (with multi-panel stories, etc?) Or is it a magazine with one-page gag drawings?

From the publisher of Whiz Comics (Fawcett via wholly-owned subsidiary Country Press, Inc.), both Whiz Bang #4 (1 on census) and the annuals (0 on census) have racy but classicly elegant one-page gag drawings.  I can't imagine it got any better for the genre back then (or since!).   Your inquiry reminded me of this cool page from Whiz Bang Annual (Second Edition 1940).  The seasoned collecters refer to certain thingies (ehem) as "headlights," and I've been curious when that began.  Apparently, at least as early as 1940 (see below).  If anyone knows of an earlier explicit reference to lights or headlights by Fawcett or any of the other publishers, please let me know!

Bought my first GA a few weeks ago(forgive the crosspost) and although it's nothing remarkable, and pretty beat up, I've been thrilled with it. Just checked the census and with zero copies on the board at any grade I'm now feelin' even groovier about my new oldest book.
