Very well drawn and the first of many "inside the cockpit" covers which will appear from this point on and cease with issue #83,(an inside the bomber cover) after Sgt Rock takes over this series the aviation covers will become non existent. This issue looks a little better than a 4.0 to me but CGC is very tough when grading black bordered comics-Very Tough! only 7 in the census with a high of 7.5

Thanks...I updated the post, there are only 7 on the census...I'm going through my books for the first time in a few years and I am finding quite a few that had less than 10 now have 12 or more. If there were a category with 20 or less, I have a bunch, lol.

it seems a bunch of early OAAW have 7 or 8 in the census... that tells one all they need to know about how many collectors there are for the graded issues..

this one #12 has 8 in the census, with a high of one 8.5 and two in 7.0

Just over the limit for this thread with 11 graded copies but here is my recent addition to the collection  - Guns Against Gangsters #4 (L.B. Cole cover & interior art). Nicest .5 I've ever seen plus white pages - the price was low so I couldn't pass this one up.
