Robot Man
A super rare 1933 LA Newspaper Club. Button features Skippy and Wimpy from Popeye. I have only seen one other of these in a Hake's auction. You would think they would turn up in this area, but not so. sagii

Robot Man
This one has no badge that I know of. It was also aimed at an older crowd. From 1942 it is an early antique toy collector's club. I didn't know toy collecting was so serious back then. Features a nice early pedal car. Robot Man
Rare 1930's Phantom Detective Pulp Magazine membership card and badge! Probably also aimed at an older crowd. Probably the reason so few still exist.

This one was probably a real club where people with similar interests came together. My impression is that the kid-oriented ones weren't actual clubs in that sense, but maybe some of them were. I love the Captain Miracle with the "Adventure Machine" and the Melvin Purvis. The Robin Hood card is great, too. Heck, they're ALL great!!
