Robot Man Posted February 5, 2023 Author Share Posted February 5, 2023 Just got home from set up day at Cal Con. This year there is a separate day for dealers and “VIPs” (those chosen few kids that kiss the ring and pay for the privilege”. I set up but didn’t sell early except to a couple close friends. I like to have a fresh, un-picked booth for the “little people”. I was first one in the room. These folks worked the butts off to accommodate their dealers and put on a very fun weekend! From beginning to end my booth was packed with smiling and eager buyers. Sold everything from superhero to PCH to GGA, Pulps and even Westerns and funny animal books. Just proves that anything will sell and even in quantity if priced right. All the dealers raved and a lot of collectors went home with great books. Thanks so much to @TerrysComics and the cool guys at @shortboxedfor all their hard work. Great weekend! I picked up a small pile of fun books including a few suprises! Will post them when I come up for air.
