At least three characters have undergone bodily changes.

Nebula's bodily changes have been noted above.

GROOT's bodily changes were on display in the Christmas Special. I believe Gunn addressed them in a tweet.

Star Lord's new body is the most obvious in the poster. His body has gone from the bulked-up -- partially chubby -- body of the previous films to a skinny teenage nerd's physique.

I'm not sure what this all means. I'm not going to find out. I am boycotting this swill until the public apology to the fans from Fiege & the franchise-wide reboot.

If it’s as bad as vol 2, then they still owe me money.

I recommend saving your money. You already know it will be worse than the previous film and the proof is the images that have been released.

Rainbow colored space suits just is not a good idea, and the decision to do that is for what reason? Is it because it is funny ( it isn't ) so therefore my assumption is it is for toy sales.

Oh jeez…….

Guardians 1 is by far one of my favorite Marvel movies so I hope this one is good. :wishluck:

I'm with you in that Guardians Vol. 1 is in my Top 10 favorite MCU movies. Vol. 2 not so much, though I still enjoy the characters and their interactions.

I am hoping Vol. 3 will nail all the old themes that made this small part of the wider franchise so solid.

I have a theory that I enjoyed it because I was not familiar with the character histories. Anything Spiderman/Venom/Punisher related, I tend to nitpick too much in my head!

I was very familiar with them from the run used. I'd read Annihilation when it was released in hardcover form, and collected the GOTG series that followed it. So I was looking forward to it. What we got was somehow different, but faithful, if that makes sense. The characters were pretty different, but you could see they were based on the Annihilation versions. It worked for me.

I was happy because it lead to a LOT of people discovering Annihilation, which is a terrific read. I hate cosmic stuff, and i couldn't put it down. It's one of the best stories of the decade.

I think I have it but never read it!

You really should, it's a really good read. I say that as someone who generally detests Marvel cosmic stuff.
