Eschenberg. Yes, he's selling them. I have the FF #28 from the collection. I picked it up in San Diego...the only decent copy in the entire convention center and I was unfortunately on a Marvel silver age crossover agenda. Let's just say I overpaid and leave it at that.

Yeh looks like he wants quite a bit of money for his books. Guess he must think highly of himself ;p

Beyond highly of himself.....

When I asked him what he had for high grade ASM, I got a "THERE A LOT OF MONEY!"

These sellers that prejudge buyers kill me.

One thing I have learned throughout the years is never judge a book by it's cover.

The Edenwald "pedigree" copies are laughable from what I have seen.

Tanning, poor page quality , transfer stains. Etc...

Another unrecognized "pedigree", to boost a books margins with the "pedigree" label.

Just my humble opinion.

Any word on if these are going to be officially recognized as a pedigree? I think the only people who considered a true pedigree were Heritage, when they were selling a couple of the books, and this guy..

That guy is a joke. Books always over-priced. I avoid his table at all shows.

Yeah, the book that I saw at San Diego were nothing special. If I wanted common Marvels 9.2 or under, I could have gone to any other table to find them. Luckily I don't collect them so I didn't bother asking about his wall prices! frown.gif

Personally, I don't get the real negative vibes like my EMAIL "conversation" with Steve Fischler from Metropolis when he won my FF48. Other than the EMAIL automatically sent from his sniper software, he didn't say anything except: "Yes, I received it" when I asked him the question. frown.gifmad.gif

Conrad Eschenberg seems to specialize in PRE-hero Marvel comics & orig comic bk art (Ditko, Kirby, etc.) w/ above avg hi-prices for mid-grade bks crazy.gif at comicons. This was b4 he had his Edenwalds slabbed w/ brand new hi-prices.
